1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Washae LLC ("Washae," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Washae mobile application, website, and laundry services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility
To use our Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Reside in or have a valid address in a location where our services are available
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of our Service, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or contain false information.
4. Identity Verification
To ensure the security of our Service and prevent fraud, we may require you to verify your identity by providing a valid government-issued identification document. By submitting identification documents, you:
- Confirm that the document belongs to you and is authentic
- Authorize us to verify the information provided
- Understand that your account may be restricted until verification is complete
5. Services Description
Washae provides on-demand laundry services including but not limited to:
- Wash & Fold: Standard laundry washing, drying, and folding
- Dry Cleaning: Professional dry cleaning for delicate and special garments
- Duvet & Bulky Items: Cleaning of large items such as comforters, blankets, and duvets
Service availability, pricing, and turnaround times may vary based on your location and the specific services requested.
6. Orders and Scheduling
When placing an order through our Service:
- You agree to provide accurate information about your laundry items and preferences
- Pickup and delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our control
- You must ensure someone is available at the designated address during scheduled pickup and delivery windows
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion
7. Pricing and Payment
7.1 Pricing
Our pricing is based on the weight of your laundry and the type of service selected. Current pricing is displayed in the app and on our website. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
7.2 Payment
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for:
- Base fees at the time of order placement (where applicable)
- Final service charges based on actual laundry weight after processing
- Any applicable taxes and fees
7.3 Refunds
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We may offer a refund, credit, or re-cleaning at our discretion.
8. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Empty all pockets before submitting laundry for cleaning
- Inform us of any special care instructions or delicate items
- Not include prohibited items (see Section 9)
- Inspect your items upon delivery and report any issues within 48 hours
9. Prohibited Items
The following items are not accepted for our laundry services:
- Items contaminated with hazardous materials, bodily fluids, or biohazards
- Items infested with insects or pests
- Leather, suede, or fur items (unless specifically agreed upon)
- Wedding dresses or highly valuable garments without prior arrangement
- Items with excessive damage or deterioration
- Rugs, carpets, or oversized items not specified in our service options
We reserve the right to refuse to process any items at our discretion and may return prohibited items without processing.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Item Liability
While we take great care with your items, we are not responsible for:
- Normal wear and tear, including color fading or fabric aging
- Pre-existing damage, stains, or defects
- Damage caused by improper care labels or undisclosed special care requirements
- Items left in pockets (cash, jewelry, electronics, etc.)
- Shrinkage that occurs despite following care instructions
10.2 Maximum Liability
Our liability for any lost or damaged item is limited to ten (10) times the cost of cleaning that item, up to a maximum of $100 per item. Total liability for any single order shall not exceed $500.
10.3 Service Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WASHAE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Washae and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the exclusive property of Washae or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from our Service without our prior written consent.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- Any pending orders may be cancelled
- We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in the state where Washae is headquartered, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Washae.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Washae is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and app, and by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Washae regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
