How to delete your account
You can delete your Washae account in the app: open Settings, tap Security, then tap Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm before the deletion is completed.
If you cannot use the app, email us at support@washae.com with the subject line Delete Account Request and include:
- Your account email address
- Your phone number associated with the account
- Your full name
Processing time
We typically process deletion requests within 7 business days after we verify account ownership.
What data will be deleted
- Profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Saved addresses and account settings
- Identity verification records, unless legally required to retain
What data may be retained
We may retain certain transaction, billing, and compliance-related records when required by law, fraud prevention needs, or financial regulations. Retained data is limited to what is necessary and is protected according to our privacy practices.
